Rosa Loves

This is a super cool site with some super cool t-shirts. This is what they do: First, we meet an individual, family, or a community in need. We get to know them, hear their story, and design a shirt inspired by what we’ve learned. Each T-shirt design is hand printed on sweatshop free apparel. The [...]

Virb Invites

I have obtained 4 0 available invites to the invite only/beta testing version of Virb.com. Virb is a social networking site from Unborn Media, creators of the widely-praised musical social site PureVolume. Some say Virb will rival that of Myspace. The rules are simple. The first four to comment on this post requesting an invite will receive them. [...]

e-Sword

If you don’t know about e-Sword; you should! I used it a ton in college. It is a FREE Bible software in which you can install many translations, commentaries, dictionaries, and graphics (such as maps). It is a very feature-rich Bible software. To sum it up, Rick Meyers the creator states: As a Bible student [...]

Icon War

Fun Fact: This is what your desktop icons do while you are away from your computer.

Speed Test

SpeedTest.net is a pretty nifty looking (and useful) little speed test. Below are the results from my apartment. I have a 3 MB service from the cable company so it looks like they were holding up to their word. My upload is close to 256k. Update: These are the results from work.

No Meebo

I changed my mind on the Meebo thing. It is a really cool concept but I don’t think I’ll ever use it. I’m not online enough. I work full-time after all. Anyways, it’s a really creative thing, but will probably be more useful on someone else’s blog. So, no Meebo for now.

Hubble Telescope is 16!

Hubble has been in service for 16 years. Wired News has a gallery of some amazing photographs taken by the famous telescope. I suddenly feel like a nerd.

The Daily Show now on iTunes

iTunes struck a deal with Comedy Central. They now offer monthly subscriptions that will allow you to download the entire month’s 16 episodes. Also available to you through Comedy Central and iTunes are The Colbert Report, South Park, Drawn Together, and some stand up performances. Must be nice to have a video iPod. If someone [...]

Today in News

The U.S. is trying to keep “nuclear technology” out of Iran, and Iran doesn’t like it. My Word: I’m sorry. I have to pass on this one. I admit, I do not keep up with politics enough to form a reasonable and educated opinion. Bonds used “the juice.” My Word: If you don’t believe that Bonds [...]

AT&T and Bellsouth

Looks as though AT&T will merge with Bellsouth. This may be a boring post for you, but not for someone who is currently working in the telecom industry.
